  Renovascular disease

Renovascular disease

This is a condition in which the arteries (blood vessels) from the heart to both kidneys become blocked by fatty deposits and fail to provide the kidneys with an adequate blood supply. You can help prevent renovascular disease by eating a healthy diet (avoid fatty foods and salt), by not smoking, and by keeping your blood pressure within the range determined by your doctor.
