Most patients with kidney failure can be treated by haemodialysis. It must be possible to gain good access to a patient's bloodstream.Since patients on haemodialysis experience fairly dramatic changes in blood pressure and toxin levels, some patients with heart problems may not be ideally suited to haemodialysis.
